I was chasing opposites. Then I met Bruno, the neighbour's dalmatian, and remembered the Shahi fan from old Indian courts. Somewhere between the two, a table fan blew the spots clean off the dog. You never see the wind. You only see what it took away. That's the whole trick of art: you don't draw the force, you draw what's left.
